Amarnath Yatra By Helicopter

Amarnath Yatra is a Hindu pilgrimage to Amarnath cave, a holy shrine situated at an altitude of 3,888 m (12,756 ft), about 141km from Srinagar. It can reached through Pahalgam or Baltal. Amarnath is considered to be one of the most visited shrines in Hinduism.

Amarnath Yatra 2022 Opening Date

Registration for the annual Amarnath Yatra 2022 will begin on April 11. After being suspended for two years due to Covid, the yatra will start on June 30 and conclude on August 11. Nitishwar Kumar, CEO, Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board confirmed the news Thursday, reported news agency ANI

The date and the duration of the Yatra has been decided keeping safety and security of the pilgrims in mind. All the Covid-19 SOPs declared by the government will be followed during the Yatra.
